LureLog allows users to request deletion of their account and personal data associated with the app. If you would like your data removed, send a request to support@lurelog.app.
How to request deletion
To submit a deletion request, email support@lurelog.app and include:
- the subject line Data Deletion Request
- your LureLog username
- the Sign in with Apple account or email relay details tied to the account, if available
- any other information that helps identify the correct account
After the request is received, LureLog may ask for additional information to verify the account before deletion is completed.
What may be deleted
A completed deletion request may remove information associated with your account, including:
- account and profile details such as username and home state
- catch logs, uploaded photos, catch details, and scan history
- ranked catches, XP history, leaderboard presence, and public profile content
- user block relationships and related account preferences
- support records tied directly to your account, where appropriate
What may be retained
Some information may be retained for a limited time or longer when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, billing records, dispute resolution, security, abuse prevention, or legitimate business operations.
Backup copies and technical logs may also continue to exist for a limited retention period before they are deleted in the ordinary course.
Response timing
LureLog will review deletion requests and respond within a reasonable timeframe. The exact timing may depend on account verification, technical constraints, and whether any information must be retained for the reasons described above.
